GuestI’m currently sitting in my car in a parking lot near the industrial area in Sharjah feeling completely stuck and honestly a bit frustrated. I noticed my rear left tyre looked a little low when I left home this morning but I thought maybe it was just the heat or something. Drove about fifteen minutes and then the tyre pressure monitoring system started flashing like crazy. Pulled over and found a screw stuck in the tread and the tyre is visibly going down. I’ve got my kids in the back and need to get them to school and then get to work but I have no idea if I should risk driving slowly to the nearest petrol station or if that would completely destroy the tyre and maybe even damage the rim. Someone mentioned that I should look for flat tyre repair experts Sharjah because apparently not all roadside guys know how to properly patch a tyre without causing future issues. Is that true or will any garage do the same job? Also how much should I expect to pay for a repair if the puncture is just a simple screw hole? I really don’t want to get ripped off but I also don’t want to drive on a flat and end up needing a whole new tyre which would cost way more. Has anyone here driven slowly on a puncture and been fine or did you regret it later? I’m just trying to figure out the safest and smartest move right now while I’m sitting here watching the pressure drop slowly. Any quick advice would be really appreciated because I can’t sit here forever.
